When my children were smaller, they loved to color, and as a result we had reams (or so it seemed) of coloring books.

They would color most of the pictures in each, but there were always 2 or 3 in each book left uncolored.
I hated to waste the uncolored pages, but it didn't seem reasonable to keep the whole book.
I began neatly tearing out the uncolored pictures, three-hole punching them, and placing them in a cheap three-ring binder.
I made one for each child and this became their "Travel" coloring book for car trips. The pictures seemed new to them and the binder provided a hard surface for coloring in the car.
Most binders even have a small pocket, perfect for a pack of crayons!
