This may be a small tip but it's something that I find just plain maddening. For years I was in a veritable haven of convenience with spray oils.

Of course, I would opt for store brand over PAM, unless I had a coupon, since I was purchasing a new can every month. The approximate $3.00 per purchase didn't seem terrible and I was paying for convenience after all.
That is, until I went through my grocery receipts and realized I was spending about $36 per year on 72 oz of oil (12 - 6 oz cans). I buy oil at the grocery store and get 128 oz for under $10!
What was I thinking all these years; letting myself be lured into buying oil for that price all for the accommodating spray can? No longer will I pay more than 3 1/2 times what my product is worth.
I carried myself to the most wonderful of places the bargain hunter can imagine; the Dollar Store! To buy what, you ask? A $1.00 metal spray bottle with an adjustable nozzle to contain my oil! Now, instead of paying an additional $26 for spray bottles that will only end up in landfills, I have paid $1.00 for a refillable one that I get to keep for many years.
