"Our Dining Room Ghost"
I gave my twelve year old granddaughter a piece of muslin, my pinking sheers, and a red chenille stem. Oh – and a red balloon. She cut out eyes and a mouth and made the muslin edges ragged. She draped it over the red balloon and fashioned a bow tie from the chenille stem. Then we pinned it to the dining room curtain.
That night the balloon lost most of the air inside, but the “ghost” kept its shape. BOOO!
Kind of cool and spooky at the same time.
