When visiting at a friend's house I noticed she had just purchased the same magazine that I had also recently purchased!

I told her we should decide which magazines we are going to buy, then split them up between us (which ones she would purchase and which ones I would), and then we could exchange them.
That way we are spending less money (HALF!) on magazines and still enjoying our favorites.
You can also do this among a larger group of friends and end up saving even more money!
