CRAFT IDEAS
Frugal crafts, garden crafts, DIY home projects, homemade gifts, homemade Christmas ornaments, holiday decorating, home decorating on a budget, fun crafts for kids, homemade Halloween costumes, etc. All submissions that are frugal and crafty will be considered for publication.
PAYMENT
Although we cannot offer cash payments at this time, we can offer a link back to your favorite personal craft site, including Etsy, or social media account. And of course, a huge THANK YOU! :o)
SUBMISSIONS
Articles should be submitted in plain text by either typing or copy and pasting them into the body of an email, along with a photo of your craft. Do not send your article as an attachment, we do not open them for security reasons. Proof-read and spell-check your work one more time before submitting (we will edit your article for spelling, grammar and punctuation if needed).
Please include the following information with your submission...
* Title of Craft or Gift Project
* Your First and Last Name
* Photo of Finished Project (1-5 photos as needed)
* Introduction/Description of Project (first paragraph)
* A List of Items Needed to Make Project
* Detailed Steps for Making Project
All article submissions will be reviewed by the editor and considered for publication in an upcoming issue of Living a Better Life, and on the website, BetterBudgeting.org. Crafters will be notified by e-mail if selected for publication. If you need more information regarding your submission please contact the editor at any time.
AUTHOR BYLINES
Published articles will include crafter's name under the title along with the copyright date and repeated name at the bottom of the article along with link to crafter's personal website.
COPYRIGHTS
As the original author of your article you will retain the copyrights and are free to offer it as a reprint in other publishing venues after 90 days. Please include a note "First published at BetterBudgeting.org" when possible. This will help other craft writers learn about our submission opportunities and budgeting families to find financial help through our website if needed.
