I love to recycle all of the paper in my household that I can!

I take all papers from mail, printouts on the computer, notebooks, etc., and cut them up into useful note sheets to use. Then I run all papers that can no longer be used through the shredder and use those for my composter or as mulch in my garden beds around my vegetables.
I also use my newspapers as mulch that I lay in between my garden beds that are wet down and covered with a fine layer of leaves that have been run over with the lawn mower to keep the wind from blowing the papers away (I don't use colored newspapers or print since I have read that it's not good to add that to you compost).
At the end of the growing season, I rake up all of the papers and leaves and put them in the compost bin to get rid of the insects and red ants that like to bed up and start all over again the next year. This has allowed me to continue to recycle year after year and keep down weeds without any cost!
This allows me to have all the mulch and compost I need for my entire garden and for over 50 fruiting bushes and trees.
