"Mama's Wreath"
This small, sparkling wreath to hang on the tree was made from beads from my Mother's favorite necklace. It is very heartwarming to have something to hang on my tree made from something that was special to her. Makes me feel very close to her.
Very simple to make. Just string beads on fine wire and bend into shape, twisting the wire at the top to anchor and form a circle to insert the ornament hook for hanging. Add a bow if you like and you are done.
These are so simple to make and if you don't have "special" beads to use, you can always find necklaces at yard sales to reuse the beads for very little cost.
Editor's note: This is a very special ornament and my personal favorite of all our submissions. I would love to make these with one of my mother's (or grandmother's) necklaces next year for our family. Thank you for sharing this with us!
