How to make bath milk

This makes great holiday gifts! Put some in a zip bag and then into holiday Chinese take out type containers with a handmade tag containing the directions and a pretty ribbon. You can also make labels on your computer using 2x4 shipping labels.

Items needed:

1 c. dry milk powder
1 c. baking soda
2 T. cornstarch
15-25 drops of body safe fragrance oil (it will say on the bottle if it is soap or body safe)

Bag or container to store it in

Instructions:

Combine all dry ingredients in a large zip bag. Add fragrance oil (some of my favorites are vanilla, strawberry, chocolate and chocolate mint... but you can use any of your favorites).

Zip bag closed and shake until all ingredients are combined and fragrance oil is distributed thoroughly. Makes a 12-ounce batch. To make it fizz, you can also add 2T. Citric Acid.

Add these directions to your label... To use: Milk is known to soften the skin. Add 2-3 T. of Milk Bath into warm bath water and stir to dissolve. Store in a cool, dry place. DO NOT EAT!

Other container ideas: Jelly Jars, cello bags tied with ribbon, tin tie bags, cookie tins (put in zip lock first so it does not leak out), or paper bags with your own designs stamped on them.
