"Handprint Wreath"
This wreath is something to cherish for years to come because it is made of my youngest child's handprint.
Materials:
Scrap paper
Green craft foam
White craft foam
Red craft foam
Marker
Glue
Directions:
Trace your child's hand onto scrap paper. Trace this paper handprint 4 times onto green foam and 4 times onto white foam. (It's much easier to trace the paper handprint several times than the child's hand!!) Color the white handprints light green. Cut out all 8 handprints. Arrange the 4 light green hands into a square, and glue the green hands in between them. They will be in 2 layers.
Cut out a bow from the red foam and glue to the wreath. Using a hole punch, punch several red berries from the red foam. Glue these randomly on the wreath, as singles, doubles, and bunches of three. Glue a ribbon hanger on the back of the wreath.
