"Fabric Scrap Ball"
This is my favorite ornament to make because it's so easy and gives your tree a whimsical homespun look.
Material:
Any size Styrofoam ball (can be found at any craft store)
Fabric scraps
Butter knife
2 ornament hooks
Directions:
Take a piece of your fabric scrap and lay it on the Styrofoam ball. Then take your butter knife and push the edges of the fabric into the Styrofoam ball until that piece of fabric has been securely attached to the Styrofoam ball. Keep repeating this process until the entire Styrofoam ball has been covered with fabric. Then take an ornament hook and bend it in half so it looks like a loop. Then push the open end into the Styrofoam ball to create a hanging hook. Take the other ornament hook to hang on your tree.
