"Beaded Snowflakes"
This ornament is so easy to make and quite versatile. It can be used as a tree ornament or wreath ornament, hung in windows, a package tie-on or with greens as a table decoration. It is not just for Christmas. It will add sparkle in many places during the winter. The inexpensive materials are readily available and is easy enough for children (please supervise with the hot gluing).
Materials:
Hot glue gun or Tacky glue
Scissors
Ruler
6mm faceted beads/crystal
8mm sunburst beads/crystal
11 mm Tri-beads/crystal
Or beads of your choosing
Directions:
Cut glitter stems into 4 inch lengths
Glue two stems together to make an X
Glue a third stem onto the X (it will look like an *)
On one spoke slide beads on in the following order:
Faceted bead
Tri-bead
Faceted bead
Sunburst bead
Sunburst bead
Faceted bead
Tri-bead (put a dab of glue on top of this bead)

Repeat the above order with the remaining spokes

Wasn't that easy? Now comes the fun. You can design your own snowflakes. Try different size beads, different sequences, or make snowflakes in smaller sizes with fewer beads.
