Homemade Christmas Ornaments: Family Memories

Family Memory Ornaments 1

"Family Sentiments Ornament"

My husband and I had fun making ornaments together for our first Christmas married. I liked making this ornament because I took existing words and put them together to express different feelings I had with the coming Christmas holiday. Using existing words was inspiring to me instead of coming up with words to put together on my own.

Supplies:

Clear ornament (We used the square, ice cube shaped ornament found at Hobby Lobby. Any ornament can be used.)

Sticker words (We used Making Memories Word Fetti Stickers - Holidays & Winter. Any sticker words can be used.)

Directions:

Place sticker words around the ornament. You can get creative and put some words vertical and some horizontal, or all horizontal.

We found the word stickers at Hobby Lobby in the scrapbook section. Any word stickers can be used and are found in the scrapbooking section of a local craft store.

To be even more crafty, you can use different themed words for your ornaments, depending on who they are for. For example, for a baby's first Christmas ornament, use word stickers with a baby theme.
