"Oval Paper Ornaments"
I like using up scrap scrapbook paper for these ornaments. Quick and easy.
Items needed:
12" Scrapbook paper
scissors or paper cutter
staples ( I like the color ones)
ribbon
Directions:
Cut 6 scrapbook paper into 2 inch strips
Cut 2 of the pieces into 8 inch long strips
Cut 2 of the pieces into 10 inch strips
Stack your paper in this order and line up one end: (printed side down, or side you want to see down) 12" strip , 10" strip , 8" strip, (now for the printed side up) 8" strip, 10" strip, 12" strip.
Staple them all together on one end.
Now bring all the bottoms together. When you do this you will be making an oval shape.
Staple the bottoms together.
Punch a hole at the top and run a ribbon through and tie at the top to hang.
These store flat if you take the bottom staple out.
